Hosted in collaboration with the Gibraltar Federation of Small Business (GFSB), the awards recognised individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to environmental awareness and sustainability within the community. The Acquarius Team, led by Camille Benezrah, received unanimous support from the company’s directors and staff, as they have in previous years.

Camille joined the other finalists in presenting highlights from their projects before the winners were revealed. In front of a large, diverse audience, she delivered an outstanding, and highly engaging, presentation that showcased Acquarius’ sustainable practices. She highlighted the firm’s efforts in technology and equipment re-use, energy efficiency, waste reduction and daily choices that promote a greener workplace. She also spoke about Acquarius’ impactful partnerships together with employee and community engagement, underlining their measurable contribution to a more sustainable future.

This year, the prestigious Green Beacon Award came in the shape of a striking and very stylish blue seahorse, which will take pride of place in Acquarius’ new, sustainable office that was carefully designed using innovative green materials and methods.
